May I remember to look at life’s events from several perspectives and take all into consideration….we each one have our own perspective and who’s to say one is right and the others wrong? Dialogue is the key.
Looking at your beautiful picture, Carol, I though about something totally different. Whatever we encounter in our life is always a reflection of something bigger and may be hidden at that particular moment. If we act upon the reflection, we can make mistakes. With our mental eyes, and with our heart we should seek for a bigger picture, for a larger knowledge. Thank you for the food for thoughts 🙂
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments, Inese. You described what I hoped to convey in the series of the pictures with such profound eloquence.
I remember looking out of my upstairs bedroom window and seeing the upside-down steeple reflected on the flooded sidewalk. I quickly ran downstairs to grab my camera and tried to show ever clearer, wider perspectives. 🙂
I think part of the genius of this work lies in your having kept the tint off natural and constant.

Thank you, Paul. I did need to play with photo editing – the morning was really dark. But I loved the reflection from different vantage points. 🙂

Isn’t it wonderful to catch a precious moment which disappears as the sun travels across the sky. Beautiful image, Carol. xx
