  1. Best wishes and hope you are well…I don’t follow too many blogs, I appreciate yours when it arrives….actually grateful when it arrives

    1. Sorry to hear you are in the deep freeze, too, AmyRose. My tiny dog and I just went out 17 below and breezy with a – 35 to – 40 windchill. I worry mostly about his little ears, nose, and feet. The only real challenges for me were moving in all of the layers of sweaters, hoodies and coats and seeing – my scarf covered nose fogged up my glasses. But we both survived so far. 🙂

Sending warm wishes to you. ❤

      1. Just be careful, Carol. That windchill is nasty! I’m taking care of barn cats next door to us (wild and feral cats) and I pray they will be OK in this cold. I’ve got blankets in there but they mostly hunker down between bales of hay. Zero heat in there this year especially now that the horse died this past summer. Sending you warm wishes to you in return! ❄️❄️❄️

  2. That was a cold week. I know well what -40 feels like. Been there. In Moscow 😉 I would pull up my scarf to cover my mouth and nose so that I could breathe. Sometimes I though my eyeballs would freeze 🙂

    1. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with really cold weather, Inese. 🙂 I did have to use my scarf often when I took my little dog out. But of course, my glasses would fog over making it a bit challenging to see. Nonetheless, we both survived. 🙂
