Carol A. Hand
Supermoon rising in the darkening sky
We watch in wonder, my daughter, granddaughter, and I
Spellbound by its beauty, enthralled by its light
Gratefully greeting this peaceful November night
Chaos may swirl around us threatening dark times ahead
Still, in this moment, we’re united,
celebrating loving connections and nature’s miracles instead

Lovely sentiments, Carol. And I agree – much better to concentrate on love and miracles, for I truly believe that whatever we focus on…grows. Love and blessings to you and yours ❤

Sad, I didn’t get to see it too much cloud cover. But, it sounds beautiful in your offering. :o)

Thank you, Patricia. We were a day early, but it turns out it was perfect timing. Today it’s cloudy here, too. 🙂

Unfortunately, it’s too cloudy here to see it, but your poem is lovely and I’m glad you were able to share this wonderful phenomenon with your grand-daughter.

Thank you for your thoughtful comments, Chris. Technically, today is the actual Supermoon day, and like your weather, it’s cloudy. I’m grateful we had a chance to celebrate yesterday when the sky was clear and circumstances brought us together at just the right moment. 🙂

It was a gift, David. But alas, with no camera, so I was forced to try to draw what I remembered … 🙂

Hi Carol,
I read your poem November Morning Reflection but could not pull it up on this blog so I am leaving my comment here.
Loved the poem about the crows. Maybe they were crowing about not having any leaves for cover from the rain. :o)

Thank you so much for your lovely comments and ingenuity, Patricia. The poem will appear again later. I tried to schedule it to publish at a later time but failed in my first attempt, not realizing the 5:30 means am – and 17.30 means 5 pm. (I think?) I wanted to give myself time to grade papers before it was published 🙂

I received it in my email but when I clicked like or the title WP advised it can’t be found. Your followers can read it but won’t be able to comment. We will be back though. :o)
