Carol A. Hand
Gazing up at surrounding trees
silhouetted against cloudy sky
watching as four eagles circle above
grateful for the sheltering and life-giving presence
Returning to the tasks before me
Grading and building new course assignments
deeply grateful for the honor of trusting students
eager to learn so they can build a healthier world
May their thoughts soar with the eagles
carrying the message of our shared dreams
for the sake of all, and for generations yet to come
of healthy communities nurturing children in a world at peace

Thank you for your kind words, Dave 🙂 (It helps me to remember why I spend hours on the computer grading and designing the online components for this hybrid class…)
BTW, I love the work you’ve done on your blog!

Thank you, Carol!
I had some folks on Twitter, Facebook, etc, telling me they couldn’t fit my cover page and stories on their phones. So I looked for another theme, and this was the one I liked best. It’s me, alone and walking towards who knows where!
And I am also being more selective about what I post. I needed to stop repeating the same issues over and over again.
And I am also going back to doing more writing of my own. In fact, I will be publishing a posting either on Wednesday or Friday of this week that I have been working on. I am only posting on MWF for now.
I was burned out, Carol, so I needed to do something to be refreshed/renewed once again, and so far, this seems to be the fix.

Thanks!
It will probably make some people unhappy with me, but this would be nothing new;-)
