As I sip my morning coffee
A gift from above
A delicate snowflake
Settles on my dark glove

As I gaze in wonder
Gentle breezes blow
Lifting it to join others
On the blanket of new fallen snow

The whisper of snow, of wonder, delight
This peaceful moment will linger in my spirit
Perhaps through these simple words
Others will hear it
